Marius-Kirsten
Marius was born in southwest Germany near the swiss border. His musical career startet at the age of 6 with playing the piano, followed later on by the guitar.

After graduating the gymnasium he successfully completed studies at the “Winterthurer Institut für aktuelle Musik” focusing on electric guitar, followed by studies at the “Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg” in the major of film music composition, from which he graduated in 2015.

Since then he has been working as a film music composer, music mixer, independent musician and music teacher.

His works incorporate many different styles and instrumentations.

He lives in Ludwigsburg, Germany, where he works within the sound studio collective “Neckarstudios”.

In 2019 Marius was awarded with the German Filmmusic Award in the category “best music in a short film” for his score to “Paris You Got Me”, directed by Julie Böhm.
